This photo is of the kissing booth for charity outside the thedailycity.com mobile art show. For one dollar you could either kiss Medusa or the redneck pig man. TheDailyCity.com Mobile Art Show is a rented Uhaul truck that is obviously completely mobile and the brainchild of Mark Baratelli. Mark is the creator and editor of thedailycity.com, a local culture blog about the city of Orlando, Florida. On this third Thursday the art of Karen Russell was on display in the Mobile Art Show. I like to take pictures. It is as simple as that. I could go on and give this long rant about how I want to capture the soul of everything and how much I love light but that would only be part of the truth. I just really enjoy being behind the camera making pictures and capturing moments whether I am using an old film camera or shooting digital. The cameras I presently own and use are a Holga 120S from the 80's, a Pentax K1000 from the 70's, a Vivitar 220/SL from the 70's, an Agfa Optima 1035 from the early 70's (broken at the moment) and a Canon T2i DSLR.
I hope you enjoy looking at my photographs as much as I enjoy making them.
